As an important landing platform for the strategic positioning of Beijing International Exchange Center, the China National Convention Center shoulders the heavy responsibility of normalizing and ensuring high-end state affairs and government affairs activities. Recently, the Operation Department of the National Convention Center won the title of "National Worker Pioneer". At present, the operation department of the National Convention Center has a total of 258 employees, including 15 senior technicians and 41 senior workers, and the average age of the overall "rejuvenation" of the team is 31 years old. Over the years, the team has successfully completed more than 40 high-end state affairs support tasks undertaken by Beichen Group in Beijing and abroad, such as the 2016 Hangzhou G20 Summit, the 2017 Xiamen BRICS Leaders' Meeting, the 2017 "Belt and Road" National Cooperation Summit Forum, and the Second "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Summit Forum, which have been highly praised and recognized by leaders at all levels. In 2021, during the drill of the centenary of the founding of the Party, the Operation Department of the National Convention Center suddenly encountered heavy rain, and the team completed the recycling of items and chairs in 31 seats on the rostrum in only 3 minutes; In 2022, as the venue of the Winter Olympic Family, the China National Convention Center successfully completed the service reception of the opening and closing ceremonies of the Plenary Session, the office of the IOC staff, the office of the Chinese venue operation team, the accommodation of the security personnel and related catering services.
The opening ceremony of the plenary session has confidentiality requirements, and the service personnel must respond to changes and provide services in a timely manner. With the normalization of the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, guarding the protection of major activities and daily operations is not a small challenge for the operation department of the National Convention Center. In 2021, under the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, the team successfully completed 7 home and away state affairs services such as the 2021 China International Trade in Services Fair, the theatrical performance "The Great Journey" celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the China International Import Expo, and the Mayors Forum of the Capitals of Central and Eastern European Countries, so that the flower of service bloomed in different places.
The operation department regards epidemic prevention and control as the top priority of service guarantee, and builds a safe "protective wall" for the participating guests.
