The 3rd CNCC Family Day was held in the beautiful Olympic Park on June 14, 2014. As one of programs of CNCC to perform its Corporate Social Responsibility, the Family Day had been launched for one year and achieved remarkable results.
The 3rd Family Day closely conformed to the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation with the theme of “Respecting, Loving and Helping the Elderly”. CNCC, together with Taiyanggong Apartment for the Elderly of Chaoyang District in Beijing, invited some elderly people to participate in the event. The employees and their families carefully accompanied the elderly to visit four Beijing landmarks—the Linglong Tower, the Bird’s Nest, the Water Cube and the Olympic Forest Park—and took photos.
The event attracted more
than 50 people to participate, including 15 elder people from Taiyanggong Apartment.
Among them, the oldest was 87 years old and the youngest was only 3 years old.
Through this event, the participants had a deeper understanding of the elderly.
