In late autumn, it is always sunny days with blue sky and clear air in Beijing. The 8th Family Day was celebrated in the Olympic Green in October 24，2020. The Plogging Public Activity, a love public service activity, attracts hundreds of staffs and their families to engage in. It aims to keep health through doing physical exercise and contribute to environment protection.
Themed of “picking up rubbish while jogging”, the activity aims to pick up rubbish along the way when jogging, which is significant to protect the environment while doing physical exercise. To make it more interesting, four sessions is planned, including Q&A on garbage sorting, live interview with “Little Talent Green”, Plogging for Charity, Snapshot for Charity.
Q&A
Preaching garbage sorting knowledge and Q&A are planned in this session, which arouse children’s interest and encourage them to engage in the activity with full confidence and enthusiasm. Through this activity, the children learned the relationship between garbage sorting and our life and furtherly understood how to sort garbage. They took themselves as an example to motivate people around to put it into practice in daily life.

“My Dad used to smoke, but now he doesn’t. That’s environmental behavior!”
“Protecting the environment is a big matter. Garbage sorting is very important. We should participate in garbage sorting to protect the earth.”
“Hazardous garbage should be distinguished, it is the most harmful pollution to the environment!”
“We can sort the garbage in daily life to lighten the workload of the sanitation workers. It is a kind of action to protect the environment.”
“Keep the sky blue and the grass green is to protect the environment.”
“After participating in this event, I found that charity can be so meaningful, and sports is so interesting!”
Snapshot for Charity
CNCC also initiated the “Snapshot for Charity” activity. Participantscan capture the most beautiful moments by their phone whenever they are climbing, night running, city running, camping or doing any other outdoor exercise. Let us protect our environment in daily life and carry forward the public spirit.
As one of the most important activities of CNCC, the annual Family Day celebration activity has become a cultural brand, promoting communication between enterprises, staff and their families, deepening understanding and supporting, enhancing the sense of belonging of employees and strengthening the cohesion of the enterprise. In the future, CNCC will organize more colorful Family Day activities to let staffs feel the strong family atmosphere of enterprise cohesion by concerted efforts and contribute to the development of the enterprise.
